    Thanks Mike for this video

I am web designer and my task is to create templates. My company rule is to create website with in 1 and 1/2 days. So that i have to make a design in Photoshop, convert it to HTML and to create 5 themes also.
I never get time to think or to plan.

I am not at all happy doing this, please Mike i need some suggestion.

@Kris – Thanks for the feedback bud.

@Kapil – Unfortunately not having enough time to brainstorm is an issue for many designers. Most companies need you to crank things out quickly. That’s how it is for me as well. But I at least give myself a few hours to brainstorm if I’m working on something new. Its our job as designers to include the brainstorming time in our projected time of delivery. So for instance, if something normally will take 3 hours to complete, give yourself 6 hours. Use a few hours to brainstorm. We have to get better at it. If you can do this, you’ll start to see better results.

Another inspiring video. I know it sounds simple, but often times I don’t brainstorm before wireframing. Brainstorm, wireframe, then prototype. Thanks again for the video and inspiration.

I agree with your point that it is necessary to have a brainstorming session, prior to commencing work on a web design project. Web designers should have a good understanding of client requirements and ask appropriate questions in this brainstorming session, to help them develop a suitable web design.
