thank you mike for your videos, help, inspiration, and for everything you have done.
you know mike there are a lot of stuff a UI designer need (softwares, services, photos ..etc) and almost most of the good stuff are not free.
the thing is for a starter its a bit hard to get that much money to spend on these things
so i rather (for now) to start with the free stuff that i can find on the internet and start building my career from there
im not just looking for free services but i just wish if you made the training course accessible to everybody and maybe one day you become a youtube partner and you make some money of youtube
and im sure one day you will be inspiring Millions of people
I love your tutorials on YouTube. I create websites with using just iWeb which I love. However it was not updated for long time and I wanna learn more with other programs like Adobe MUSE.
I love FIREWORKS as well but to be able use it for web design I will have to learn HTML coding and CSS which I hate.
I am just not coding person.
I wanna become a member but wanna know first if your videos will be simple enough (for someone who hates coding) to be able learn and love coding.
@Mazen – Thank you, we web designers love free stuff. I’m no different. Its totally fine going that rout. If you ever find yourself needing that extra high, my membership site will always be here. ;)
@juraj – First off, I think this course would be perfect for you. Based on what you mentioned and where you want to take your skills. To be honest, its really up to you as to how far you want to take your coding skills. I know a lot of designers that are not really coders, but being able to code will take your value to another level. I would say first start off at the BEGINNER section at HTMLDOG.com. Once you learn just the very very basics of HTML, I’m talking just the basics, then the coding part will be perfect. You can always join for the other parts, then slowly work your way into the coding section. I can say that I only cover the basics in HTML/CSS and I try to speak in plain english (not using big words that confuses you). If you follow my videos, pause, play back, watch a few times, you will surely get the hang of coding. ;)

Could you check my DA? http://moldzer.deviantart.com/
And tell me what do you think of my Designs ? (I’m 15 years old .. )
Thatnks, it’d be appreciated.
Cosmo, you’re 15?… dude, you rock. I got started designing when I was 21. You’re way ahead. Great job all around. Your next step is to take it a little further. Design the 2nd and 3rd page of a website to get a feel of how it will flow from page to page. The sub pages should be a little different layout than the home page. Maybe branch into other areas, try designing a mobile app interface, or a web app. Also, start focusing on pixel perfect detail (around buttons, cropped images, etc.) You have the overall skill and knowledge of design. All I can really say is keep doing what you’re doing. ;)

Hi Mike – Great videos, they are the best on the web and I can not wait to sign up.
Just an idea but I think it would also be great to maybe have a private members forum for this so you could build a community of eager learners.
I’m definitely interested in becoming a member and so far, have really enjoyed your free content.
Will you be covering the 960 grid system in your new online training? Also, will your member videos be longer in length and more detailed, especially re: coding xhtml/css?
@Ally – Thanks, I don’t necessarily use the 960 grid system that you might have seen out on the web, but I use my own system that does fit within the 960 width frame. Yes, I show you how to setup your website using guides, explain the sizes and the measurements on what to use. The main course videos are longer than the youtube videos and more in depth, especially the coding ones. ;)
My training course intended for anyone that would like to learn my process. I teach my complete process and show you along the way how I go about designing a website. I basically take this website (https://mlwebco.com/portfolio/portfolio_ramtrucks.php) and show my process in designing and coming up with the concept for this site. Which is my process for all my websites. It will give anyone a deep understanding of the web design process. Also, you’ll learn a deep understanding of visual design. Then I show how to I code the website in HTML/CSS. Consist of over 45 videos. Not to mention, I’ll be posting a weekly bonus videos. You will get full access to these videos as well. Below is a partial list of some videos I will be producing for members:
– Customizing wordpress to the look-n-feel of your website (series of videos)
– Adding a CMS to your website
– Mobile/UI Design Tutorials (at least once a week)
– Professional Logo Design
– How to design for B2C vs B2B
– How to Become a Better Visual Designer
– How to Start a Web Design Business
– Understanding SEO
– How to Become a Better UI/UX Designer
and much more!
It’s like my youtube channel but on steroids! Also, I will providing knowledge sharing videos (with me on camera) explaining various tips and advice for growing as a web design professional. It’s for anyone who find my videos interesting and would love more!
(I should probably ask you to take investment money in the enterprise!)

Nice!!
I’m a silent follower of your guidance videos for quite a while now, and I’m thrilled to find out what I can learn from you. You’ve got yourself a student! ;)
I’m 30 and I’m an army-man ;), but I had my years of adventures, and Wanting to give my family more quality time… I went back to school to become a network engineer…still busy on that :)
But I fell in love with web designing… So in my spare time I’m trying this out, but needed some structured guidance I think…And someday I would like to start a one man company of my own with this…
I hope I can contact you soon to present some of my try outs…
Thanks Tom, you wont regret it. If you want to grow, learn the skills and gain the knowledge of becoming a successful Web UI designer, I truly believe my training can get you their. I’m glad you joined and hope to continue sharing my knowledge with you throughout your career.
