Once Again, Mr Mike, very well done. I love your content and I love that you “keep it real”. I follow content from quite a few individuals online, and I have to say I actively look forward to your videos/vlogs and any new bonus videos you give on your website; I mean I actually go to your website almost every other day looking for new videos. You know I always say this, Thanks for What You Do. One of the keys to success in general is gratitude. I sincerely appreciate what you do. My hope is that you continue because I know you bring value to people watching.
@Juan – Thanks man, appreciate the feedback. Glad you enjoy the topics and things I touch on.
@Kazim – Many thanks, glad you find my videos informative.

i agree 100% with this video. in the past i always hesitated on applying for certain jobs because i didnt feel i was the “perfect fit”. the job description made me feel like “oh they will never call because i dont have this or that”. but ive learned to just apply anyway. some of the hiring managers dont even know what they want for real…
Hey Mike, amazing video as always. This has nothing to do with the vid, and sorry if my question is to personal, feel free not to answer, but do you mind if I ask what race you are?
Touching on some of the other comments on this thread, it was actually thanks to you that I have the job that I have today Mike. I was in the same boat as most people, never applying to jobs because I was scared of rejection, it’s funny because after I got past not being the “perfect fit” for the description, I got interviews at almost each one I applied for. So I thank you for that.
P.S. Your UX and UI tips have brought me a long way as well :)

Thanks Mike! Appreciate your response. How do you handle audio with an SLR and also what is the set up when you make a video in the car?

Hi Mike,
I can’t thank you enough for your videos – I’ve been a Graphic Designer for last 18 years and now transitioning to the UI/UX design. After watching your videos I feel so much more confident in myself and less afraid, as you say, to put my portfolio and resume out.
May I ask you a question – how would you suggest to choose the topics/ideas for the personal project – should those be something that I passionate about, or should I follow the trends here as well and try to create something that I think the potential viewers might like.
Thank you

Thanks indeed Mike. By doing this video, you actually released my concerns which trapped me for years. Although my perfectionism is not too serious to stop me from all the new things I want to try, but it is true that this sick way of thinking is really not healthy and will waste a lot of time. “You don’t need to be perfect before put yourself out.” — I’m going to keep the quote in my mind at all time. Look forward to watching more videos from you. Cheers!

Hey Mike,
What kind of equipment do you use to record your videos. They are so well done and professional.
