    I was hoping you’d do a tut!!!

    Sorry, I’m still not completely clear though about using Catalyst for completed projects. Is it only for prototyping or can it produce finished work if it’s not too complex?
    Or does it always have to be finished in FLEX?

    It can actually export .swf files just like flash. So yes, you can use it for “real” flash components. It’s limited in what it can do though in that regards as it doesn’t really work on a timeline like flash… so you can’t have repeating moving things, like slide shows. But you can make things move by clicking, etc. by adding “on click” actions to buttons and such. As I find “real” world uses for it besides just prototyping, I’ll continue to post more.
